The NOVATRON Music X is a remote controller app for smart phone and tablet PC, which will give you an easy and convenient control for NOVATRON's cocktailAudio X-series products such as N15, X14, X35, X45, X50 and more.
The NOVATRON Music X enables you to control and use most of cocktailAudio X series' features and functions remotely; MusicDB play and management, file management like copy, move, delete, import to MusicDB and export from MusicDB, make a playlist and its management, playing online music services such as TIDAL, Deezer, Qobuz and Airable, etc

Frequent crashes requiring device reboot. Limited configurability in app (no dark mode). Can't customize views: if I view by album artist, I can't sort by year within that; if I view by genre it just lists every song. Unintuitive operations sometimes load entire music database (over a TB of info). Terrible support from vendor.

Very difficult to use to find music. It seems to be based on the idea that you just want to play individual tracks rather than albums. Sorting and arranging views is basic at best. For example; I want to see albums arranged by genre, but instead I get all tracks by genre. Similar to recently imported music; I want to find the last album I bought but instead get a track view. The web interface is much easier to use (but a dated web design).

So the idea of this app is really cool. It lets me access loads of functions of my Cocktail X35 like the music database, radio, internet streaming services like TIDAL and so on. My big problem is that the app is still rather buggy. For example, at least 40% of the time the app prompts me to select a device on startup. When I do so, nothing changes. Seconds later the same prompt appears. The only thing that helps is rebooting the app as well as my device. Any help?
